Form Creation Tools 

 
The following tools are free to students, faculty, and staff and allow you to create surveys, quizzes, polls, and other online forms and invite others to respond. Results can be viewed in real time as they are submitted, have additional analysis tools, and options to export results data.

 

 

The following tools can be purchased by your department and offer a variety of form development features. These tools also have workflow capabilities.  

 

Smartsheet is used by units on campus to automate business processes, create electronic approval workflow, manage projects, and other functions. Intake forms can be built to gather and analyze information and initiate additional workflow steps. 

TeamDynamix is used by units on campus for service management, project management, and business process automation. Information submitted through request forms can generate a work ticket and/or generate workflow steps.

 

Workflow Tools 
 

The following workflow tool offers a Standard version that is free to students, faculty, and staff through their UGA Microsoft Office 365 account.  

 

Power Automate can be used to automate tasks across various applications, both within UGA’s Microsoft Office 365 ecosystem and with external resources. Examples include routing a Microsoft Forms submission to one or more individuals for approval, sending email notifications, copying files, and synchronizing data.

A paid, Premium version is also available for more complex workflows and automations.

Bookings can help you schedule and manage appointments with others and syncs seamlessly with your UGAMail account.

Send a poll to attendees inside or outside of UGA so that everyone can vote on which meeting times work best for them. This plugin is accessible via Outlook (client and web version).
